Canon EOS 1200D
This camera model can be introduced as the competitor to the Nikon D3300. This was introduced in the same year as Nikon D3300 and it equips with a 18 Mega Pixel CMOS Sensor. ISO range can be changed from 100-6400 a little below what Nikon has. You can do videography on this camera at the same resolution in Full HD 1080p quality while you can only take 500 shots at a one full charge of the camera. This model also has a built-in flasher on the top and the camera weighs only 480g. The price of a brand-new camera of this model is Rs.55,000 and above with a kit lens and a used one can be find at around Rs.45,000 with a lens.
Nikon D3200
This camera model was introduced before the Nikon D3300 and there is nothing much difference between these two camera models but few to be mentioned. One of the main difference is this camera weighs about 505g and it can take 4 frames per second. Also the ISO range differs from 100-6400. The brand-new price of this camera will be about Rs.54,000 with a kit lens and a second-hand camera can be found at around Rs.45,000 with a lens in Sri Lankan market.
Canon EOS 700D
This DSLR camera model was introduced in the beginning of 2013 and it got more features than the models described above. This model has a 18 mega pixel hybrid CMOS sensor and an advanced processor where the auto focus function is more developed and easily be used while taking a photo. Also it equips with a stereo microphone and high definition videography facility with a 3 inch touchscreen LCD capacitive display which can rotates and makes easy to change the settings. A brand-new camera with kit lens goes for Rs.71,000 and above while you can find a second-hand one for a cheaper price than that.
