Listed below are ten really fun, cool apps for “foodies” that will make you love your android phone or tablet even more!<\/span>

1. Food Trivia<\/span>

Food trivia is a great learning app. If you love learning about food, this is your app. The recipes, ingredients, names of foods and types of foods are not just about American foods – international foods are also part of the trivia, so any true “foodie” wouldn’t want to miss out on this fun app.<\/span>

2. Food Planner<\/span>

This is a very practical app that helps you not only learn about recipes but assists your meal planning across devices. If you own an android phone but did your meal planning on your android device, every time you open one or the other it will automatically sync so all of your planning is at your fingertips, wherever you go or whatever you are doing. Recipes for one meal or an entire week can be planned and the recipes can be ones that you are familiar with or ones that are provided elsewhere on the web. Using this app before going to buy your groceries will cut down on impulse buying because your grocery list is prepared for you, separated by food categories, which will also save time. This is a very cool app that allows players to create their own “virtual” restaurant! Cake Now is a cooking game designed mainly for children, although adults will find themselves wanting to jump into the fun. Obvious by the name, this game allows players to make cakes and who doesn’t love cakes? 5. My Fitness Pal<\/span>

A very helpful app that is informative and fun to use is Calorie Counter – My Fitness Pal, only for Android. This calorie counter is the easiest and most efficient android app for anyone who is trying to lose weight, watch calories, or just be informed about the nutritional value of the foods that you eat. With over 2,000,000 foods in the database and still growing, this is the best app available for the Android of its type. <\/span>

6. All the Cooks Recipes<\/span>

This is a fun and unique way to share and learn from others – you can post your recipes and pictures of the recipe as it is being made, or you can watch others do the same. By typing in any recipe, you can join fellow “foodies” from all over. When you are ready to watch a video or a recipe with photos, simply tap on the app and it will open and begin when you are ready. What’s different about this app is that you are able to watch the beginning of a posted recipe, watch as others make the recipe as it is or try a variation of it.
