It is the first smartphone in the world to have a 6.4’’ full HD display. It is also ultra slim with a thickness of only 6.5mm it has a reflective glass and weighs only 212 grams. It is water proof and dust resistant and packs an 8 megapixel camera with 16 times digital zoom with an auto focus. It is also powered by a 2.2 Ghz Qualcomm QuadCore processor and has the latest Android version, Kitkat.
The next high end Sony mobile phone is the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact model. As the name suggests it is indeed a compact phone designed to fit in the palm of your hands. Weighing only 137 grams with a height of 127mm the phone’s compactness hides its powerful array of resources. These include the 20.7 megapixel camera with a super auto, the latest android version, it is waterproof and dust resistant and available in an array of colors. The Xperia Z1 Compact shares the same processor as the Xperia Z Ultra. Its HD 4.3’’ display screen with Sony’s Triliminos technology which allows for authentic colors. Mid-Range Phones
From the leading high end phones, we move to the midrange Sony mobile phones for sale. These are basically phones within a price range of Rs.25, 000 to Rs.39, 000 (all currencies in Sri Lankan Rupees). From the several models within that range the three whose overview will be given here are the Sony Xperia Neo L, the Sony Xperia T and the Sony Xperia C.

Lower End Phones
The lower end phone models are basically phones retailing from any price up to RS. 24, 999. In there are several models and we review the cheapest three which are the Sony Xperia E, Sony Xperia E1 and Sony Xperia Tipo. The Sony Xperia E is the cheapest being sold from a price range of Rs. 12, 500 to Rs.25, 000. It is an unassuming phone concentrating more on ease of use. It has a 3.5’’ TFT display screen and a 3.2 megapixel camera with a 4 times digital zoom. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Next up is the Sony Xperia E1 which is an upgrade from the Xperia E model. It features a 3 megapixel camera with ability to record 720HD videos. It also comes with a Walkman music experience feature. The display screen is 4’’ TFT screen and it’s powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm dual core processor. It retails from Rs.15, 050 to Rs.18, 000. Finally, there is the Sony Xperia Tipo which retails from Rs. 16, 650 and is available in a range of four colors. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 3.2’’ scratch resistant touch screen.
