Introducing the New “Boost Your Ad” Feature on ikman
At ikman, we are always working to enhance our platform and improve your experience. Therefore, we’re excited to announce a major update to our ad promotion feature, designed to help you increase the visibility and reach of your ads more effectively. Based on valuable feedback from both users and our internal team, we are changing the terminology from “Promote this ad” to “Boost this ad.”
Why the Change?
We realized that the term “Promote this ad” caused some confusion among users. As a result, many were unsure about the action it required or the benefits it offered, which led to this feature being underused. Thus, our goal is simple: we want the feature to be more intuitive and engaging, increasing both its usage and effectiveness.
What You Can Expect
By choosing to “Boost Your Ad,” you will enjoy several key benefits:
- First, Enhanced Visibility: Boosted ads receive priority placement, making them easier to spot by potential buyers.
- Second, Increased Engagement: With better positioning, your ad is more likely to grab attention, resulting in higher click rates.
- Finally, Revenue Growth: As more users take advantage of boosting, the increased clicks will contribute to revenue growth, allowing us to continue offering more valuable services.
Where the Changes Will Happen
The switch from “Promote” to “Boost” will be visible across all parts of our platform. Specifically, here’s how we’re rolling out these changes:
- Web and App Updates:
- First, CTA Copy: All client interfaces will now show “Boost this ad” instead of “Promote this ad.”
- Second, Feature Renaming: The “Ad Promotions” section will be renamed to “Boost Ad,” including the URL and all related headings.
- Third, Plan Selection Screen: The language will be updated to reflect the new term.
- Additionally, Sell-Fast Page: We’ll update the copy here for consistency.
- Finally, FAQs: All relevant FAQs will reflect the new terminology.
- Communications Updates:
- Furthermore, SMS Notifications: Our ad promotion reminder SMS will now mention “Boost.”
- In addition, Emails: All related email communications will use the new term. Emails like “Ad Published,” “Ad Reminder,” “Promo Expiration,” and many others will feature the updated terminology.
What Does This Mean for You?
If you own an ad, you’ll now see the “Boost this ad” button when you log into your account. This ensures that only ad owners have access, offering a smooth and secure experience.
Ultimately, we believe this update will make the ad-boosting process more transparent and user-friendly, encouraging you to take full advantage of it. Boosting your ads allows you to reach a wider audience, engage more effectively, and achieve your selling goals faster.
Once again, thank you for being a valued member of the ikman community. We’re excited to see the positive impact this change will bring and look forward to your continued success on our platform.
Happy selling!
