2022 is finally here and we’re all excited! It’s no secret that with a new year comes new mobile phones. For the tech lovers who are anticipating the launch of the new range of mobile phones, here are some!
iPhone 14 series
Apple iPhones are the most popular brand right now, on par with its competitor, Samsung. The iPhone 13 series saw light last year and became a huge hit. This year’s iPhone 14 could include some major improvements in the design such as a no-notch and punch hole camera. There are rumors that instead of the 14 minis, there will be a bigger phone, bigger than the pro max! We’re all eagerly waiting for what Apple is holding up its sleeves this year.
Samsung S22 Range
Being neck to neck in sales for mobile phones, Samsung is also hoping to release their S22 range this year, which can be a massive hit. The Galaxy s22 is said to release in February, with next-gen chipsets, but possibly the same design. However, the camera still has room to improve, so we’re yet to see what Samsung is planning to bring to the table this time.
OnePlus 10
We were waiting for a OnePlus 9T, which clearly isn’t happening. Now, we wait for the OnePlus 10. There were some design leaks that already came out, according to those, there will be a different camera design this time. We’re expecting a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz screen and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The battery could be better too. OnePlus range is definitely one of the most popular mobile phones in the market right now, and we’re sure they will deliver!
Google Pixel 7
Definitely a crowd favorite, the Pixel 7 is going to be worth the hype for sure! The launch will probably happen in late 2022, around October or November. Nevertheless, with the massive overhaul from the Pixel 6, we’re eager to see even smaller upgrades coming to this phone. Word is, the camera and chipset will be the same, but with Google, we never know!
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
Quite a mouthful, we agree. The Z Fold 4 is most probably going to become the best foldable mobile phone, not just from Samsung, but overall. Rumor is, this will be water and dust resistant and feature a lighter as well. How handy is that! A bigger battery and an improved under-display camera are also things to look forward to. The Z Fold 4 will see the spotlight possibly in August or September.
Sony Xperia 1 IV
Xperia has had ups and downs, but they remained in the market, and still going strong. Their cameras are awesome, and the look-and-feel of the mobile phones are amazing. Word has it that Xperia 1 IV will launch in April 2022, and we’re excited to see what improvements have been made. Some rumors are that it will include a 50MP camera similar to Google Pixel 6, and also include an in-house built sensor for the front camera. The screen will also most likely have 4K resolution. With Sony, it’s always exciting!
